We operate as trusted advisors to your executive staff and members of your team for the duration of each engagement. Each project is unique, deserving of our best efforts to properly define its objectives, devise an appropriate approach, and execute our tasks with diligence and skill. Project StructureOur preference, one shared by most clients, is a firm fixed-price arrangement with an associated project schedule. We can usually commit to this structure if the objectives are clear, our methods can be predetermined, and our direct expenses are predictable. When our direct expenses are likely to be large or unpredictable (such as when extensive travel is required), we can commit to a fixed-fee arrangement in which consulting fees are firm and our actual project expenses are reimbursed as they are incurred. Occasionally, we determine that our methodology or even the objectives are likely to change as the project unfolds. In this case we will provide our best estimates of fees and expenses in advance, then periodically report actual costs. PaymentsWe require an advance or initial payment when a project starts, the amount of which depends upon the total estimated cost and duration of the engagement. Periodic or milestone-based invoices are submitted thereafter. Prompt payment of each invoice (within 15 days) in U.S. funds is required. ConfidentialityWe recognize the criticality of your confidential information. To protect the interests of all our former and current clients, proprietary information that is provided by a client or developed in the course of a client-sponsored engagement will be safeguarded in accordance with our stringent internal practices. In addition, Trilogy Associates will execute an appropriate written confidentiality agreement before a project starts if your policies require it. Furthermore, it is our practice when considering prospective engagements to decline them whenever it appears to us that a new engagement would create a conflict of interest with a current or former client. © 1998-2008 Trilogy Associates.
